John Ousby
John Ousby Photography offers a fresh take on event, portrait and sports photography. John had his first darkroom at 13 and is now returning to film alongside his digital work. John has received several awards for his photography and has exhibited in Dallas, London and NY. He is an expat Brit based in Frisco, TX, shooting across the DFW metroplex. John has a broadcast and technology background, he launched the first 24 hour streaming radio station in Europe in 1996 (Virgin Radio, London) and spent several years at the BBC as head of Distribution Technologies for Audio & Music. Since arriving in the US in 2009, John was co founder of several collaborative music startups.

During covid, John lightened the mood in several local neighborhoods with his 'Front Porch Project', taking photos of families stuck in their homes at their doorsteps. Photos were distributed for free as a way of bringing a break to the monotony of being stuck at home. John took photos of hundreds of families across Frisco, Corinth and Lantana
